About Ray’s Candy Store:

Ray’s Candy Store has been a pivotal part of the Lower East Side for 30+ years.

He is being threatened with imminent eviction. The loss of Ray’s Candy Store would be a terrible blow to the neighborhood, but more importantly it would leave 77 year-old Ray Alvarez (who is in the midst of legal battles to get the Social Security he is entitled to) with no income.

If Ray has touched your life, or even if he hasn’t, please donate whatever you can, however small, to help save his shop.
