NEast Village, Manhattan
Last night I was stopped by the police who were ready to give me a ticket for putting a Save Ray’s poster on a wall, which is a misdemeanor. When the officer saw Ray’s face on the poster and I told him I was just promoting an event to help this old friend, he said: “I know the man, and this time I’m gonna let you go.” It was the power of Ray’s charisma and that of love talking! The communication face to face, looking at people’s eyes to see what they’re saying… We heard and understood each other. I called it a night and came back home.
